Fire in BSNL office

CHENNAI: A fire broke out in the Greenways Road office of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd on Thursday morning.

Electrical short circuit suspected

Five fire tenders were sent to put out the fire that raged for more than an hour.

Fire and Rescue Service department suspected electrical short circuit to be the cause of the fire.

The fire damaged books and magazines worth Rs.20,000, the officials said.
