Painting contest

CHENNAI: A painting competition for students of Std. III-VIII will be organised by Airtel at Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidhyashram on Kilpauk Garden Road on Sunday.

The topic will be `Super India.’ Entry to the competition, which begins at 9 a.m., is free. Participants will get certificates and a special children’s planner, says a release.

Prizes, including cycles, watches, cameras and art materials, will be presented to the winners. Students desirous of participating, or teachers, may contact Aavishkaar India, which is conducting the event on behalf of Airtel, on 99400 56618. The participants have to bring their own colouring materials.
