Arrangements for viewing eclipse

CHENNAI: The Tamilnadu Science and Technology Centre has made special arrangements for the public to view the total solar eclipse at the Periyar Science and Technology Centre on Gandhi Mandapam Road on Friday between 4.41 p.m. and 6.08 p.m. A press release here said that eclipse of the Sun must not be viewed with naked eye or through telescopes or binoculars since it will cause permanent eye injury.
