DIC grievances meet every month

ARIYALUR: With a view to publicising the government’s announcement of various subsidies and incentives to MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), District Industries Centre will convene grievances redressal cum information dissemination meet once a month on every second Wednesday.
According to a communication from Collector R. Sudalaikannan, such meetings will have the participation of Lead District Manager, bank officials and representatives of industry associations, and officials of developmental agencies like Small Industries Development Corporation, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, and Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
The discussions will be on getting various clearances from government department and agencies; problems faced by sick units in mitigating incipient sickness; enterprises undertaking modernisation, technology upgradation and export; and enterprises that have applied for subsidy as announced in the new MSME policy 2008.
Issues unresolved at the meeting will be addressed by the Single Window Committee headed by the Collector. Entrepreneurs can contact General Manager, DIC, Ariyalur on 04329–222363 to get their grievances redressed.
