COIMBATORE: Kuzhalmannan G. Ramakrishnan (37) will start playing the Mridangam at 10 a.m. on Friday in an attempt to break his own achievement in the Guinness Book of World Records in May 2005. According to a release from the Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust, Mr. Ramakrishnan will begin the five-day marathon performance to break his record of 101 hours. His earlier performance has entered the Limca Book of Records too. The records were created at Kannur in Kerala. He will play the Mridangam at the auditorium of the Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences.
