Two officials in ACB net

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Wednesday ‘caught’ Syed Ameeruddin, junior assistant in the office of Sub-Registrar, Asifabad (Adilabad district), while accepting Rs.2,000 as bribe from a complainant. It was collected through Mohd. Tajuddin, assistant of a document writer, for showing official favour. A press release issued by ACB here said the amount was demanded for delivering two house-site documents which were registered on July 23. The bribe amount was recovered from Tajuddin. The case is under investigation. -Special Correspondent
