ICL camp commences
Bangalore: The Indian Cricket League camp commenced at the Jain International Residential School campus here on Monday.
According to an ICL press release, the league’s high performance director Jock Campbell will be in charge of the two-week camp and the emphasis will be on fitness and on anti-doping measures. The ICL has also inducted a support staff of sprint coach Zane Allan Campbell and throwing coach Mathew James Buckley. Coach Steve Rixon meanwhile will supervise the cricketing skills aspect of the camp.
Kiran More, ICL’s executive board member, said: “Maintaining the spirit and integrity of the game is of paramount importance to the ICL. This is the main objective of organising the pre-season camp which will cover all areas.” — Principal Correspondent
