New additional judge

CHENNAI: The President has appointed K. Kannan an additional judge of the Madras High Court from the date of his assuming office.

Mr. Kannan, 54, is a third generation lawyer in the family. Both his father and grandfather were lawyers.

He did his graduation in Loyola College and studied law in the Government Law College, Puducherry. He enrolled himself on July 20, 1977 and apprenticed under his father at Cuddalore.
