Sethi ends runner-up

New Delhi: Geet Sethi could not repeat his success against Mike Russell as he lost to the Briton by a 481-point margin in the World Professional Billiards Championship (WPBC) in Leeds.

Sethi, who last won the WPBC title in 2006, could manage 1,342 points as against 1,823 by Russell at the end of the tournament.

Russell, who won his ninth WPBC title, was leading by 598 points at the half-way mark.

Sethi has won the tournament five times and he beat Russell on three occasions. — PTI
