Six held under Goondas Act

CHENNAI: Six persons arrested in connection with the murder of one Rajesh in Choolaimedu last month were detained under the Goondas Act on Sunday, under orders from the Commissioner of Police R. Sekar.

The six persons allegedly killed Rajesh at a TASMAC outlet bar at Vinayaga Puram in Choolaimedu on June 26.

They were arrested and remanded to judicial custody about a week after the incident.
