Franchise post offices

CHENNAI: India Post has commenced making post office services available through franchised outlets in select areas in the city as part of its public outreach initiative. The franchise post offices will offer basic services. The first few have been launched at No: 182, Palaniandavar Koil Street, Ayanavaram, Chennai-23, No: 154, Demellows Road, Pattalam, Chennai-12, No: 5/766, Sabari Salai, Madipakkam, Chennai-91, Plot No: 59, 2nd Street, SBI Colony, Virugambakkam, Chennai-92 and No: 338/1, 6th Main Road, Vijayanagar, Velachery, Chennai-42.
