Waris Shah centenary celebrations

NEW DELHI: Punjabi Academy, Delhi, in collaboration with Sahitya Akademi and SGTB Khalsa College is organising a three-day cultural function at Delhi University beginning Monday.

“Waris Shah Centenary Celebrations” will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Eminent scholars would discuss the literary contribution of Syed Waris Shah, who wrote the love tales of Heer-Ranjha.
