Mission Chief triumphs

Hyderabad: Mission Chief (Chary up) won the Sri S. Ramakrishnam Raju Memorial Cup, the main event of the races held here on Thursday (July 24). The winner is owned by Col. S. B. Nair and trained by S. Abbas.

Note: A. Imran Khan, rider of Reconnect, who finished second, raised an objection against Harish, the rider of Vijaysamrat, who won the race. “Harish did not maintain a straight course in the last 30 metres where Reconnect was in full flow, costing me the race,” said Khan. The Stewards overruled the objection and retained the order as above.
