Travel & tourism fair from tomorrow

HYDERABAD: The 63rd travel and tourism fair, a one-stop opportunity for potential tourists to firm up their travel plans to destinations within the country and abroad, will begin at the Yousufguda Indoor Stadium from July 25.
Giving details of the three-day event being hosted by the Tourism Department and organised by Fairfest Media Ltd., Tourism Director Sabyasachi Ghosh told media persons here on Wednesday that this was the sixth consecutive year of TTF in the city.
The AP Tourism would have a big presence in the TTF with a huge stall showcasing its tourism destinations to operators from 11 States and five countries, including Egypt.
He said 14 Centrally-assisted projects worth Rs.150 crore and State projects worth Rs. 4.5 crore were under implementation in the State.
Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Fairfest Media Ltd, TTF organiser, said about 100 stalls would be put up in the fair with participation from Gujarat, Kerala, HP, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Haryana. Egypt, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Dubai and Thailand.
