Jaipur: Ornaments and donation box worth lakhs of rupees were stolen by thieves from the famous Lord Ganesh temple in Brahampuri area of the walled city here on Tuesday night, police said on Wednesday. Three silver chatra, kundan, diamonds and the donation box were missing from the temple which was locked from inside when its priest entered the premises this morning for prayers, the police said. Even the box fixed with marble floor was scratched away, they said, adding a case has been lodged and robbers would be arrested very soon.
