PATHANAMTHITTA: The Forest Department will release the entire 12.675 hectares of forest land for Sabarimala development as recommended in the Sabarimala master plan, according to an official release issued here on Wednesday afternoon. MeetingIt said the decision was taken at a high-level meeting convened by Forest Minister Benoy Viswom at the Legislature conference hall in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday. The Minister said the Forest Department would not object to construction activity in the forest land earmarked for implementing projects aimed at providing facilities at Sabarimala.
