Revised schedule of Red Ribbon Express

HUBLI: As per the revised itinerary, the Red Ribbon Express, which aims to create awareness on HIV/AIDS, will reach Bangalore Cantonment at 5 a.m. on July 24 and will be stationed there for three days, according to a release.

The train will leave Bangalore Cantonment at 1 a.m. on July 27, to reach Mysore Junction at 4.30 a.m. the same day. It will depart from Mysore at 1 a.m. on July 30 to reach Hassan at 4 a.m. the same day. From Hassan, it will leave at 1 a.m. on August 2 to reach Arsikere at 4.30 a.m. the same day. Leaving Arsikere at 1 a.m. on August 4, it will arrive at Shimoga town at 5 a.m. the same day and depart from there on August 5 at 10 p.m.

From there it will reach Hospet on August 6 at 6 a.m. and depart from there on August 9 at 1 a.m.

The Red Ribbon Express will arrive at Hubli on August 9 at 6 a.m. and will be stationed there for three days. Leaving Hubli on August 11 at 2 a.m., it will reach Dharwad the same day at 6 a.m. and stay for there for three days.

From Dharwad it will leave on August 14 at 1 a.m. to reach Belgaum at 5 a.m. the same day.

The train will depart from Belgaum at 1 a.m. on August 15 to reach Madgaon at 5 a.m. the same day. It will leave Madgaon at 10 p.m. on August 18 to reach Miraj at 5 a.m. on August 19 and from there it will enter the Central Railway.

South Western Railway has provided a one-minute temporary stop at Yeliyur station, situated between Mandya and Bydarahalli stations on Bangalore Division, with effect from July 21 and up till December 31, a release said.

Accordingly, Mysore-Bangalore City Passenger (231) will arrive at and depart from Yeliyur station at 6.40 a.m. and 6.41 a.m. respectively.
