GSK to sell generic drugs in new markets


LONDON: GlaxoSmithKline, the world’s second largest drugmaker, on Wednesday took a bold step into the branded generics marketplace via an alliance with South Africa’s Aspen Pharmacare Holdings. The move, is the latest sign of Glaxo diversifying the focus of its business.
