Attack on journalists: seven get bail

AHMEDABAD: All the seven persons arrested in connection with the attack on journalists during the “Ahmedabad Bandh” in protest against the mysterious death of two minor boys in the Asaram Bapu ashram on Friday, were granted conditional bail by the Gandhinagar civil court on Wednesday.
About half-a-dozen journalists covering the incidents outside the ashram during the bandh had suffered injuries when the followers of Asaram Bapu attacked them.
The arrests were made after identifying the assailants on the video recording of the incident by the electronic media.
