THIRUVANTHAPURAM: The Railways have appealed to the public to make use of the facility of purchasing tickets up to three days in advance to any destination to avoid rush at the booking counters at railway stations. Southern Railway sayslong queues are seen in all booking offices of Thiruvananthapuram division. The facility is available at Thiruvananthapuram Central at the main and Power House Road entries, Varkala, Kollam, Kayamkulam, Harippad, Alappuzha, Cherthala, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Piravom Road, Ernakulam Junction, Ernakulam Junction second entry, Ernakulam Town and so on, the Railways said in a statement here..
