Programme on road safety launched

CHENNAI: Commissioner of Police R. Sekar launched a week-long awareness programme on road safety, organised by the Chennai City Traffic Police and the Accident and Death Care Cell here on Saturday.

Volunteers would create awareness of golden hour management among the people. Besides collecting suggestions and complaints from the public, they would also educate road users about the value of blood donation. Police officers and doctors would also participate in the programme.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sunil Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-Central) T.S. Anbu were present at the launch.
