Some coordination efforts at last!

HYDERABAD: Water travails faced by the twin cities residents in the context of extensive power cuts will be discussed and a solution will be reached at the co-ordination meeting to be held between the officials of the CPDCL Metro Zone and Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board on Monday.

Issues to be discussed at the meeting include re-organising the load relief schedules so as to avoid the water supply timings at different localities, and adjustment in the power shutdown timings to the mixed feeders catering to the pumping stations. Pumping stations with dedicated feeders are already exempted from the load relief schedules.

“We asked the Water Board officials to provide information about pumping stations, their locations and timings. A decision will be taken accordingly,” said D.Victoria Krupadanamma, CGM, Metro Zone.
