Ukraine varsity admissions open

VISAKHAPATNAM: Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine, is offering admission into MBBS.

Informing this at an interactive session with prospective students and their parents, Vice-Chancellor of the university Andrey Dmitrievich said here on Friday that last year 94 per cent of its students cleared the screening test conducted by the Medical Council of India.

“With nearly 1:6 teacher-student ratio, sprawling campus and Indian mess, it makes a good choice for Indian students,” he said.

The eligibility for admission into MBBS is a pass in Intermediate with 50 per cent marks in the aggregate (with biology, physics and chemistry) as optionals. The tuition fee is Rs.1,40,000 a year and the hostel fee is Rs.12,000 a year.

The other courses that the university offers are MD, BDS, B. Pharmacy and Aerospace Engineering. The admissions are on for Aerospace Engineering also. Details can be had at 98488 42237.
