Bus routes changed

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Metropolitan Transport Corporation has announced change in the route of some of its services from Saturday in view of the new traffic regulation at the Anna Salai-Peters Road junction.

A release from the MTC said that in view of the closing of the right turn to Peters Road, buses on 13A, 13B, 24A, 24C and 25G routes would proceed straight up to Whites Road then turn right into Thiru Vi Ka Salai.

At the junction of Thiru-Vi-Ka Salai and Peters Road, the buses on 13A and 13B routes would proceed on Conran Smith Road and follow the existing course.

From the junction, buses on 24A, 24C and 25G routes would proceed on Peters Road using the service lane and then continue on its routine course.

Bus stop would be provided at the Whites road junction for these buses instead of Thousand Lights Mosque bus stop.

There would not be any change in route when the bus returns, the release said.
