Review people’s suggestions on traffic improvement: Stalin

CHENNAI: Local Administration Minister M. K. Stalin instructed traffic police officials at a meeting held in the city on Friday to review the suggestions made by the public to tackle the increasing traffic congestion.

A press release said Mr.Stalin presented the compilation of the public suggestions made on his website, www.mkstalin.net, to Commissioner of Police R.Sekar. The Minister said that the proposals for better traffic management could be formulated based on the public suggestions made on the website.

The website was launched in March this year to enable interaction with public about various projects and current affairs. There are also plans to create online facility to interact with the Minister on various issues.

Municipal Administration and Water Supply secretary K. Deenabandu and Chennai Corporation Commissioner Rajesh Lakhoni were present during the meeting.
