Plea to arrest mysterious murderer

CHENNAI: All India Samathuva Makhal Katchi leader R. Saratkumar has demanded the immediate arrest of the suspect involved in the mysterious murders that occurred in the Vadapalani, Porur, Mambalam and Ashok Nagar areas in the last one month.
In a statement issued here on Friday, he said patrolling should be intensified in vulnerable areas to instil confidence among the residents there.
The people should cooperate with the police and share information with the police, which could lead to the arrest of the suspect, Mr. Sarathkumar said.
He also called for modernisation of the police force.
