Notice to Mysore varsity

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday ordered issue of notices to University of Mysore on its decision to close down its outreach (distance education) centre.

The university has two outreach centres in the country — one at Rajasthan and another at Mumbai.

The closure of the outreach centre was challenged before the court.

Justice Huluvadi G. Ramesh ordered issue of notices and adjourned further hearing on the case.
