Sale of power suspended

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board on Thursday announced suspension of sale of power through the Power Trading Corporation to other States, following the failure of the southwest monsoon. An official release stated that surplus power was sold in previous years following rainfall in June and July and supply from windmills.
