Stipend sought for graduates

HYDERABAD: The Graduates Association, AP, on Thursday urged Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy to provide Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 2,500 a month for unemployed young graduates and post-graduates, respectively, until they find a job. A delegation led by association chairman K. Laxmaiah called on Dr. Reddy and after presenting some cheques for an unspecified amount to the CM’s Relief Fund, submitted a memorandum with their demands. They wanted allocation of 1,000 square yards in Hyderabad for a ‘Graduates Bhavan’ –Special Correspondent
