Telugu varsity to hold music, dance contests

HYDERABAD: Potti Sriramulu Telugu University is organising competitions in Carnatic music and Kuchipudi dance with an aim to encourage youngsters.
Audio cassette
Candidates in the age group of 15 to 25 and interested in competing for Carnatic music may send a song not exceeding 15 minutes in an audio cassette to the music department of the college.
Artistes who have auditioned for Akashvani are not eligible to participate in music competitions.
Video CD
Those interested in participating in Kuchipudi dance should be in the age group of 18 to 25 and should send their dance performance in a video CD to the dance department of the college. For details contact: 9391004151(Music), 9848466351(Dance)
