Relief sanctioned

CHENNAI: A solatium of Rs.50,000 each was sanctioned by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Thursday to the families of Rani and Durgadevi, who drowned in a pond near Dindigul in May.

This was in response to an appeal made by K. Balabharathy, Communist Party of India (Marxist) floor leader.
