Legal Aid Cell to be opened at Puzhal Prison-I

CHENNAI: A Legal Aid Cell will be opened at Puzhal Prison-I by Chief Justice A.K.Ganguly on July 26, according to the Member-Secretary of the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority T.Mathivanan. Prison-I accommodates convict prisoners.

He told newspersons here on Wednesday that the facility was already available in Puzhal Prison-II where remand prisoners were being lodged.
