Action taken on petitions to be reviewed

Perambalur: The Tamil Nadu Assembly Petitions Committee will review the progress of the action taken on petitions received in the past here on July 19.

In a release issued here on Wednesday, Collector Anil Meshram said that the Committee, led by its Chairman Kovai Thangam, will review the action taken on 36 petitions. It would also conduct a follow-up review on remedial measures for nine pending petitions which were reviewed earlier at its last sitting here.

Other members of the Committee are S.S. Sivasankar; D. Amaramurthy; K. Anbazhagan; Saba. Rajendran; A.K. Bose; Selvi Ramajayam; K. Gayathri; V. Kaveri; Ramasamy; and K. Balabarathi, the release added.
