Assembly panel to visit Karur shortly

KARUR: The Tamil Nadu Assembly Petitions Committee would be visiting Karur district shortly. Individuals, groups, institutions or associations could submit petitions listing public demands to the Assembly Committee before July 31.
The petitions should be in Tamil, in sets of five copies and should be in polite and temperate language. They should be addressed to the Chairman, Tamil Nadu Assembly Petitions Committee, Chennai – 600 009. They should pertain to problems lying pending with the Government departments over a long time. Each petition should refer to one issue only and should pertain to one department only.
Individual deficiencies, issues pending judicial disposal, job or patta seeking, old age petition seeking, bank loan for industrial activity and transfers in government departments or seeking to expose inadequacies in Government service are some of the areas that the petitions should not dealing with, a release said.
