Man held on fraud charge

CHENNAI: One person was arrested for violating a lease agreement and selling an imported plastic mould machine worth about Rs.70 lakh without the knowledge of the owner.

Police said R.Viswanathan (48) of Nandambakkam had given the machine to C.Srinivasan (33) of Kolathur on a lease agreement.

However, Srinivasan sold the machine to some other individual without Viswanathan’s consent.

On a complaint lodged by Viswanathan, the Central Crime Branch police arrested the accused.
