Effigy of Sri Lankan President burnt

CHENNAI: Criticising the killing of Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy, a group of advocates burnt an effigy of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in front of the High Court .

They earlier shouted slogans on the court premises against the killing of fishermen. — Special Correspondent
