Venkat and Lasya win

VIJAYAWADA: L.M. Venkat and G. Lasya emerged Krishna District champions with 4.5 and 4 points respectively in the under-15 chess tournament held at the Chenupati Ramakotaiah indoor stadium here on Monday.

Bharat and Sirisha finished second. These four players will represent Krishna in the Andhra Pradesh State under-15 tournament to be held at Kaikaluru (Krishna District) from July 19 and 20.
