Charged with bid to kill husband

NARSARAOPET: A woman, unable to put up with the harassment she was being subjected to allegedly by her husband, hacked him when he was asleep. The man, who suffered grievous injuries, is receiving treatment at Government General Hospital in Guntur.

According to the Narsaraopet rural police, Gade Krishna Veni (27) living at Indira Priyadarshini Colony in Ravipadu village hacked her husband Devdas (35) with an axe late on Thursday night.
