Veta One launched in State

Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPATNAM: Veta, earlier known as Vivekananda Institute, announced the formal launch of its new product Veta One in Andhra Pradesh here on Thursday. Known for imparting spoken English courses, the Executive Director of Veta K.V. Rajan said that they would cater to towns with one lakh plus population.

Announcing the launch, he said, “Small town boys are highly intelligent but they lack in communication skills. This product will enable them to learn the skills and compete with the best in the job market.”

Veta One caters to the small town folks and the course module that focuses on simple English language structure and communication skills can be completed in 60 hours.

Veta has been in this business since last two decades and has over 200 branches spread across the country and in some foreign countries like Singapore, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

Single classroom

Giving a brief on the Veta One module, the Executive Director says “It is going to be a single classroom concept and will be working on a franchisee model,” he said.

To start with, Veta One centres have been set up in Anakapalle, Amalapuram and Bhimavaram. The company plans to set up 25 centres in AP and about 200 across the country by the end of fiscal year.

“Within the next couple of weeks, we will be setting up centres in places like Vizianagaram, Tadepalligudem, Machilipatnam, Srikakulam and Ratmachandrapuram,” said Mr. Rajan.
