Creditable draw by Neelotpal Das

NEW DELHI: Neelotpal Das pulled off a creditable draw against fourth seed Maxim Rodshtein of Israel while fellow Grandmaster Abhijeet Gupta dropped half a point to lowly-rated Spanish International Master in the sixth round of the 28th Benasque International Open chess tournament to slip to the tied fourth spot at Benasque, Spain, on Tuesday.

Soumya Swaminathan (4.5) once again impressed when she defeated Spanish International Master Aleksandar Colovic.
