Bhupathi ties up with Team tennis

NEW DELHI: Mahesh Bhupathi Tennis Academies (MBTA) has joined hands with Team tennis in a bid to strengthen the coaching structure in the country.

The combined venture will run tennis coaching programme in 49 locations across the country and in the UAE. The attempt would be to promote tennis at the grassroots level by providing local clubs and schools with greater support and resources. It will address tennis needs of players up to the elite level. The system will also have multiple advanced training centres, apart from the local centres. The core team will include Davis Cupper Gaurav Natekar, along with from Sanjay Minotra, Jaideep Bhatia and Aditya Sachdeva. — Special Correspondent
