Portal for mid-career professionals

CHENNAI: Yoganishta, a placement services company, launched a portal, midcareers.com, for mid-career professionals.

It is aimed at professionals who have had eight years of experience in the middle management level and want a change.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, G. Ramu, chief architect of midcareers.com, said that there was a growing demand in most industries, IT and manufacturing, to find the right manager to meet the company’s requirements. This portal would try to bridge the gap by finding the right candidate for the right job in the right kind of industry.

Mr. Ramu said Midcareers.com would focus on five services such as career guide, career counselling, career tools, thought exchange and placement.
