Court directive on administration of Sangam

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: A City Civil Court here has appointed an advocate commissioner to take over the day-to-day administration of the All India Naidu Sangam (AINS), T.Nagar.

S. Karthik Ganesh of Pudupet has also been directed to conduct the 85th annual general body meeting relating to the conduct of elections by giving proper notice to all members of the sangam as on date. The XI Assistant Judge S. Chinnasamy gave the direction while issuing interim orders on an application arising out of a civil suit filed by K. Santhanam, joint secretary of sangam.

The petitioner, removed from primary membership of the Sangam, had sought to restrain P.S. Jagannathbabu, AINS president, from holding the annual general body meeting on July 5. The president, he alleged, was indulging in acts detrimental to the interests of the Sangam.
