Funds sanctioned
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Funds have been sanctioned for various development activities in the district from the MP fund of A. K. Antony, a press note issued here said. Rs.25 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a building for Government LP School, Kottukal. An equal amount has been sanctioned for the construction of the headquarters building of the Kerala Federation of Blind at Kunnukuzhi. Rs.10 lakh has been sanctioned from the MP fund of Thennala Balakrishnan for the tarring of the Marathalidi-Kiralikuzhi-Mulayara road in the Poovachal grama panchayat. Rs.3 lakh have been sanctioned from the MP fund of P.J. Kurien for setting up a public meeting ground at SC Colony at Mundakkal. The district collector has given administrative sanction for all these works, a press note issued here said. — Staff Reporter
