Man killed in wall collapse

CHENNAI: An 80-year-old man was killed when a wall collapsed on him after a lorry crashed into it at Mannadi early on Tuesday.

Police said the lorry driver was trying to move in reverse direction when he did not notice the wall. Ganapathy of Varatha Muthiah Street who was standing on the other side of the wall came under the debris and was killed on the spot.
