Lots for selection of Haj pilgrims
CHENNAI: The draw of lots to select pilgrims from Tamil Nadu for Haj will be conducted on Thursday at 2 p.m. at JBAS College, Teynampet.
An official release stated that the event was initially slated to take place on New College premises on Thursday at 10.30 a.m.
The change in time and venue was effected following a request from the Chief Executive Officer of the Central Haj Committee, Mumbai, who said he had to conduct the draw in the morning for selecting pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir, the release added. — Special Correspondent
