MADURAI: A visual communication course of modern times ought to have advanced technologies to offer bright career prospects to students.

Chennai-based Softview Visual Communication probably has got this message clear.

With more than 18 years in the education field, it provides services in graphics, videography, journalism, broadcast media, video production, photography etc. An e-film magazine, www.tamilcinema.com, is the product of Softview.

With all these experiences, it has started a one-year diploma course in visual communication.

The course is designed in such a way that it provides opportunities for successful candidates in film industry, modelling, textile, photography, studio, television, radio, magazines, e-magazines and other areas where visuals are the basic content drivers.

For the benefit of students, Softview brings out an in-house magazine ‘Vergal.’ “The objective of the programme is to identify and bring out students’ talents in arts and creativity. Besides it also exposes them to different creative entities such as print, broadcast and web media, radio, movie production and advertising,” said its director M. Anto Peter.
