Sports complex at St. George’s
NEW DELHI. In bustling South Delhi, a sports complex has come up in St. George’s School, offering modern training facilities to talented students.
The school has developed a tennis court, a cricket field and basketball courts within its premises. The upgraded facilities will have two turf pitches but the best is an international-standard basketball court with hydraulic rings and fibre boards. The only court of its kind in the Capital, it has received the approval of the Basketball Federation of India. The lush green cricket field (former cricketer Uday Gupte is the chief coach), and tennis courts are fitted with floodlights, making it a compact sports complex. — Special Correspondent
