Youth arrested for theft

CHENNAI: The Avadi police have arrested M. Prabhakaran (25), who was caught while stealing in a house in Avadi TNHB quarters on Saturday.

The accused had broken into the house of Kumar, a school teacher when his wife Anitha had gone to a shop nearby. When Prabhakaran was about to flee, Anitha returned and raised an alarm. The neighbours caught Prabhakaran and handed him over to the police.
