PMK cadres block roads

CHENNAI: Pattali Makkal Katchi cadres resorted to road blockade at two places in the city on Saturday condemning the arrest of party functionary Kaduvetti Guru.

Police said 116 cadres led by former Union Minister and MP A.K. Moorthy blocked traffic at T. Nagar and raised slogans protesting the arrest. They were taken into custody.

At Tiruvottriyur, 14 party workers who tried to block traffic were arrested. In Ambattur OT, about 50 partymen staged a demonstration.
